For Vinorodno, the offline guide to Slovenia's wine regions and grapes
Vinorodno is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their country. It is an information guide: it sells no alcohol, links to no shop, and does not encourage drinking.
Vinorodno collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and nothing to buy; the app requests no Android permissions and never opens a network connection. What you read, filter and bookmark stays on your handset.
Vinorodno is made and published by AP Gaube, d.o.o., a company registered in Slovenia, which releases its apps under the name FrostBrook Games. Under the General Data Protection Regulation and Slovenia's Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2), that company would be the controller for any personal data the app processed. It processes none, so the role stays empty.

The app is meant for adults of legal drinking age, and Google Play's content rating reflects that. We do not ask for your age or date of birth, because doing so would mean collecting personal data from everyone in order to keep a small number of people out — and an honest guide to wine regions is not the kind of content that requires it. If you are under the legal drinking age where you live, please do not use Vinorodno.
Vinorodno has no shop, no basket, no delivery, no partner cellars and no affiliate links. It does not facilitate the purchase of alcohol in any way, and no producer pays for a place in it. Where the app names a wine or a grape, it is describing it, not selling it.
Nothing in the app describes wine as healthy or as a remedy for anything, and pairing notes are about taste, not nutrition. If you visit a wine region, arrange transport, a driver or somewhere to stay before the first glass. Please drink responsibly, or not at all.
The wines you bookmark are kept in the app's own private storage on the handset. Nothing is uploaded and no picture of your drinking habits is built from them — no producer, retailer or advertiser learns what you like. The list is a note to yourself.
A single small file, holding only:
Nothing in it identifies you: no name, email address, age, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifier or device identifier. The file never leaves the phone and we never see it.
No page view is counted, no reading time is measured, and nothing typed into the search box is stored or transmitted. There is no history screen because there is no history, and the app does not know where you are.
No advertising library, so no drinks advertising and no advertising profile of any kind. No analytics library and no crash reporter, so no usage events, session logs or crash traces leave the handset. No billing library, so nothing is for sale and no payment data exists. No account, no sync, no reviews, no sharing.
Vinorodno requests no Android runtime permissions: not camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notifications.
None. Every region, district and variety in both languages, the pairing notes and the glossary are compiled into the download, so the app opens no connection to our servers or anyone else's and behaves identically in aeroplane mode.
Installing or updating Vinorodno is a transaction between you and Google, handled under Google's own privacy policy and its agreement with you. What reaches us is the aggregated, anonymous developer console view — installs, ratings, country totals — which identifies nobody.
If a future version ever touches the network, this page is rewritten before that version is published and the change stated plainly.
The General Data Protection Regulation and ZVOP-2 give you the right to ask whether your personal data is processed, obtain a copy, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. Every one of those needs data in our hands, and there is none — we will confirm that in writing if it is useful for your records.
Your bookmarks are removed by clearing them in the app, clearing the app's data in Android settings, or uninstalling Vinorodno. No copy survives anywhere else, because none was ever made.
Complaints may be addressed to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si) or to the supervisory authority where you live, though a note to us usually settles things sooner.
This page is updated only when the app changes in a way that affects privacy, and the date near the top changes with it. Builds already installed keep behaving exactly as described.
A grape placed in the wrong district, a term that reads oddly in Slovenian, a privacy question: vino@apgaube.click, read by the person who wrote the app, usually answered within a couple of days. Pišete lahko tudi v slovenščini.
